Thoughts from an Underground Insider: Fake News: How Can we tell?

In these trying times of political unrest and the two political parties at each others throats,  combined with many of our citizens reaching the point of no trust in the MSM and with so many “alternative” news sites on the internet (like THEI) “fake news” has become as common as lying politicians.  How can we know what is true?

While digging into which stories I feel are of concern to you and the others who read THEI I have almost been sucked into reporting these lies myself.

Because of this I have started to check my facts more than I use to. The latest one being “Top Clinton Aide Summoned By Congress Turns Up Dead.

“Just days after being summoned to appear before Trey Gowdy’s congressional committee to testify about Hillary Clinton’s email server, one of her aides was found dead at home of “natural causes.” . . . Complete “report”

My first step when finding what I suspect is one of these Fake News Reports is to make a search for who is reporting this particular story on the internet. For instance, on the story of the Clinton Aid found dead I found the following:

    First Red Flag:  Not a single MSM or tried and true alternative news source, such as  Drudge Report, Info Wars, was reporting this, only relative unknowns.

    Second Red Flag: Most of these lesser know “alternative news” sites file the same report, useing the same – usually small short reports with the same wording.

    The next step is to make a Public Records Search on the person mentioned as the main character in the report.  One site I have found very useful in this is:

    truthfinder.com

    One good source for fact or fiction facts is to check a great site that traces the truth of such reports, snopes.com

    In today’s instant world of getting information it is just as important that we seek out and expose` the untruth as it is to distribute the truth no matter what our personal beliefs are.  Hope this helps you shift through the clutter. . . You Editor Dennis Crenshaw

HE WAS an enigma to the authorities and a curiosity to collectors, a man who could have made bundles with his brains.

But not all of Francis L. Henning’s plans were foolproof or legal, and he fled South Jersey in 1955 with the feds on his tail, dumping buckets full of shiny evidence in local waterways. On Oct. 28 that year, Henning, looking both distinguished and defeated in a light suit, stood for a mug shot in Cleveland, where he was making $700 a month as a mechanical engineer — more than twice the national average for the era.

Henning was a counterfeiter who strategically dreamed small, it seems, to fly under the radar of the agency he figured would be looking for fakes: the Secret Service. Henning made hundreds of thousands of fake nickels in a machine shop in rural Erial, Camden County, all by himself, using a 250,000-pound press and sheets of cupronickel that cost him thousands of dollars. And now, my take:

Reporters should be banned from writing stories on topics with which they have zero experience. If a reporter is assigned to do a story, they have the responsibility to become aware of the issues as well as the facts before turning in their piece.

Having fired a great many real assault weapons, up to and including grenade launchers, true machine guns (light, intermediate, and heavy), and heavy sniper rifles, I can say with confidence that nothing like that is available at Gander Mountain. But they should be. Okay, maybe not the grenade launchers.

The liberal media bias against all private gun ownership is a nonsensical belief that Big Brother will protect us from all harm. The very meaning of the word “liberal” is at odds with that belief. When Gary Hart dreamed up the Department of Homeland Security and George W. Bush signed the so called Patriot Act, it had nothing whatsoever to do with international terrorism. Its only reason for being is to allow the State’s terrorizing its own citizens with minimal resistance. It is designed solely to prevent domestic unrest that could lead to, well, the fall of the Federal government from within.

Some would look at the faked assault weapon story as a singular anomaly. It is a symptom of a disease known as simple-mindedness. It is incurable and it is terminal.
