ENVIRONMENTAL SPACE SCIENCES is a book taught at the Air Force Academy and written by Professor who was the originator of the Space Science Course at the USAF Academy. Colonel was also the Commander of the SPACETRACK Radar Site at Shemya, Alaska. Col. Carpenter was kind enough to send Eastern MUFON the book he edited and wrote with six other officers. Most of the book pertains to science of space, the sun, planets, plasmas, magnetic fields, radiation, meteors, planets, space dust, Cosmo chemistry, the planets and moons. George Filer copied this chapter manually for you the reader, because I felt it was of importance, so I hope you enjoy it.
All the chapters are of interest to the Ufologist, such as the Search for Extraterrestrial Life, but most important is Chapter XXXIII “The UFO Mystery.”

Witnesses in Arizona and California have reported seeing a “huge triangle” object moving across a dark sky on August 7, 2012, according to testimony from the Mutual UFONetwork (MUFON) witness reporting database.
In Case 41541, a witness in Surprise, AZ, reported seeing an “extremely large black/dark triangle object with a light at each corner” about 9:30 p.m. (MST) that moved in a southwesterly direction and disappeared over the White Tank Mountains during a 10-minute observation. . . . A Florida witness driving over the Timuquana Bridge on Jacksonville’s west side reports watching a “dark triangle” UFO between 300 and 400 feet in the air and moving between 40 and 60 mph, according to December 6, 2011, testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting databas.
“I observed an apparent dark triangle about the size of a plane, with three uniform lights, one at each corner of the triangle, but with no flashing FAA lights,” the witness stated. “I am quite used to seeing many jets and planes regularly, as I live in close proximity to Naval Air Station Jacksonville, and this was not a plane.” . . . continue
