After footage surfaced of Occupy Wall Street protesters in Minnesota making claims that they’ve been drugged by police officers, authorities in the state have opened up a criminal investigation.

At least one Minnesota state trooper has been placed on paid leave since law enforcement officers began investigating allegations that cops arrived at Occupy Wall Street encampments and drugged protesters.

Independent filmmakers and journalists in the state say that they have encountered members of local Occupy offshoots who say they have been offered drugs by law enforcement officers. The controversial hacker group Anonymous appears to have moved past its role of hacking into government systems. Now the group has supposedly released a video that says “we are not alone.” In the coming weeks, they are said to be planning to release evidence of extra terrestrial beings that have been on the planet Earth since the early 1900s. The group’s posting said that the “truth” of the aliens are much more intricate than simple UFOs and flying saucers. Apparently within a few days Anonymous will release information about aliens interacting with mankind.

What may be the most embarrassing moment yet for Mitt Romney, during the race for the 2012 Republican Nomination, happened over the weekend in the very state in which he is the former Governor and calls home.

Ron Paul won.

Even though it was reported Sunday that Mitt Romney himself was apparently responsible for picking the slate of Massachusetts State Delegates he was hoping everyone would vote for, his delegates.

Unfortunately for Mitt Romney, that didn’t happen.

Instead, over half of the delegates he was hoping people would vote for never made it, including notable State Republicans such as the House Minority Leader and other state politicians who even wanted to remain nameless.

Newt Gingrich is well know as an American historian. So… either he isn’t the historian that he claims to be or he is the liar I believe him to be. The fact that George Washington grew hemp is well known across the land.

Newt check this out . . .  In his diary for August 7, 1765, Washington writes, “Began to separate the Male from the Female hemp … rather too late.” Female marijuana plants are the ones that contain enough THC to be worth smoking.  Mr. Gingrich you need to spend more time in your history library and less time telling people what you believe they want to hear to elect you President . Among all the GOP presidential candidates, he’s the only one who stands for constitutionally limited government.

The controversy surrounding decades-old newsletters to which GOP presidential aspirant Ron Paul lent his name is regrettable. First, it is regrettable because the sometimes bigoted, intolerant content of those newsletters is inconsistent with the views of the congressman as understood by those of us who know him. Yet, while Mr. Paul disavows supporting those ideas, he refuses to repudiate his close association with their likely source, Lew Rockwell, head of the Alabama-based Mises Institute.

Second, the New York Times editorialized recently that these unsavory writings “will leave a lasting stain on . . . the libertarian movement.” That is wishful thinking on the part of the Times, but it adds to the background noise surrounding Mr. Paul’s candidacy, obscuring the real libertarian policy initiatives that have made his candidacy the most remarkable development of the 2012 campaign.
