It might be better if Eric Holder spent more time cleaning up the rogue NSA than trying to keep the individual States from insuring the ‘one citizen – one vote’ law. North Carolina is demanding that voters identify themselves with proper ID at the polls. Holder clams it would be a problem for poor people and ‘people of color’ to get an ID. Yet, the same people who Eric Holder says would be placed under a hard-ship to get an ID to vote must present 2 IDs to receive food stamps and other government hand-outs and they don’t seem to have a problem getting those services. Lets face it, in today’s troubled times we need to know who is voting just as well as we need to know who is buying a pack of cigarettes at the local 7-11.
It’s actually a no brainer why this administration is fighting to try and keep voters from identifying themselves… if IDs were required illegal aliens and the election liberal zombies (those who vote more than once and those dirt-nap voters famous for getting out of their graves on election day and heading for the polls) wouldn’t be able to stuff the ballot box with the votes needed to elect people who’s agenda is the One World Order. . . . The Justice Department is suing North Carolina for alleged racial discrimination over its tough new voting rules, Attorney General Eric Holder announced Monday. “By restricting access and ease of voter participation, this new law would shrink, rather than expand, access” to voting, Holder said at a news conference. “Allowing limits on voting rights that disproportionately exclude minority voters would be inconsistent with our ideals as a nation.” The lawsuit is the latest effort by the Obama administration to counter a Supreme Court decision that struck down the most powerful part of the landmark Voting Rights Act and freed states, many of them in the South, from strict federal oversight of their elections. . . . “The White House moved to prevent defense and other government contractors from issuing mass layoff notices in anticipation of sequestration, even going so far to say that the contracting agencies would cover any potential litigation costs or employee compensation costs that could follow.
“Some defense companies—including Lockheed Martin, BAE Systems and EADS North America—have said they expect to send notices to their employees 60 days before sequestration takes effect to comply with the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act, which requires companies to give advance warning to workers deemed reasonably likely to lose their jobs. . . .”
“So the Office of Management and Budget went a step further in guidance issued late Friday afternoon. If an agency terminates or modifies a contract, and the contractor must close a plant or lay off workers en masse, the company could treat employee compensation costs for WARN Act liability, attorneys’ fees and other litigation costs as allowable costs to be covered by the contracting agency—so long as the contractor has followed a course of action consistent with the Labor Department’s guidance. The legal fees would be covered regardless of the outcome of the litigation, according to the OMB guidance issued by Daniel Werfel, controller of the Office of Federal Financial Management, and Joseph Jordan, the Administrator for Federal Procurement Policy.” [i.e WE the Taxpayers will cover the cost] . . .
