Bigelow Aerospace has landed a contract with NASA to install an addition to the ISS for a (relatively) cheap $17.8 million. The low price is made possible in part because the add-on will ride to the station in a compact, tightly folded package and expand to full size after it arrives. CEO Robert Bigelow talks with PM about the contract and his company’s future.

Robert Bigelow spent decades amassing the fortune he needed to start his own space company, a dream he had since he was a boy growing up in Las Vegas in the 1950s. At the turn of the millennium, with cash from his real estate empire and hotel chain, he went shopping for the technology he needed to expand off-planet. . . . Read Complete Report

How to Build a FLYING SAUCER – Recently declassified records from the Aeronautical Systems Division, USAF (RG 342 – Records of United States Air Force Commands, Activities, and Organizations) reveal some surprising, perhaps never-before-seen images.
