Police body cameras in full effect

In Laurel, Md. the police department has fully implemented the use of what’s been coined the “lipstick camera,” a miniature camera that’s tacked onto the glasses of police officers. The department says it can provide valuable evidence in court for both sides in case of a dispute, and therefore benefits both officers and citizens. But there are still concerns over the privacy issues at hand, such as what becomes of the countless hours of video footage and whether officers have the power to edit the video.
