Detroit Police Chief James Craig has an idea for fighting crime — arm more citizens.
“When we look at the good community members who have concealed weapons permits, the likelihood they’ll shoot is based on a lack of confidence in this police department,” said the chief at a press conference this week, The Detroit News reports.
The chief said he believes the financially crippled city’s residents are feeling safer and violent crime dropped seven percent in 2013. But Craig said that he’s changed his mind over the years over whether citizens should be armed. . . Read Complete Report
News of a New Crime Wave broke this week. A criminal organization admitted it committed over 5,600 crimes in one year — violent crimes, drug manufacturing and trafficking, and political corruption. That organization is known as the FBI.

This should really get the White House all rankled up. As they are trying to fight violence by removing guns from the general public, one Arizona politician sees it the other way around.
Shaun McClusky, a former mayoral candidate in Tucson has launched a program to get shotguns into the hands of homeowners in crime-prone areas to help them protect themselves. Under his program, qualified individuals would have to undergo a background check and complete the necessary training. Last evening Joe Biden gave an interview where he suggested to the women of America they should buy double barreled shotguns AND, in the event of hearing an intruder, the woman should make her way outside and fire BOTH BARRELS into the air! Never mind that if doing so doesn’t scare off the intruder both barrels would now be EMPTY!
There are no lengths the gun grabbers won’t go to try to convince us to give up our weapons!
The 2nd amendment isn’t merely about the right to self defense and / or hunting. The 2nd amendment exists so that WE THE PEOPLE would have the ability to defend ourselves against a tyrannical government; ie: the likes of Joe Biden and his boss, Barack Obama!
