By Tony Dokoupil, Senior Staff Writer, NBC NewsIt bears an aura of inevitability, the state-by-state fall of marijuana prohibition, starting with January’s debut of commercial sales in Colorado and Washington state.Even as the legalization trend has spread, however, gathering momentum in at least 11 other states and setting up a prolonged clash with federal law, the issue has drowsed in the shadows of establishment conversation. It’s been officially ignored by major editorial boards, legal and medical societies, blue-chip companies and religious groups. . . . Denver Airport Whistleblower: ‘Underground Tunnels, Structures and Buried Runways Exist’

According to a former construction worker who allegedly took part in the construction of an underground section on the Denver International Airport (DIA) in the 1990′s a massive 2.5-3 mile long tunnel system exists in and around the DIA complex, says Stu Webb, whistleblower.

DENVER — Underground tunnels do exist around the world as the longest documented publicly known tunnel is located in New york and is 85.1 miles in length. It was drilled through solid rock in 1945 and is used as a waterway. The “Delaware Aqueduct is the newest of the New York City aqueducts. It takes water from the Rondout Reservoir through the Chelsea Pump Station, the West Branch Reservoir, and the Kensico Reservoir, ending at the Hillview Reservoir in Yonkers, New York. . . . A Pictorial Conspiracy At Denver International Airport

(Thomas Dishaw) If you haven’t had the opportunity to fly in or out of the Denver International Airport you are missing out on a truly eerie experience.

Denver_airport_USGA_2002_modThe airport was built in 1995 on a span of 53 square miles. Although the city of Denver had a 100% functional airport,  a new one was decidedly built, with fewer runways and without major technological advancements. According to aerial shots of the airport, the runways have a resemblance to  a Nazi Swastika, essentially  giving the conspiracy crowds more ammunition for their argument.

The airport is also riddled with numerous murals depicting a truly apocalyptic future touching on subjects such as genocide, death, Mayan prophecy, sun life, and plague, making Denver International Airport a destination you would definitely like your children to see on your next family vacation. . . . COLORADO —  The Denver International Airport (DIA) which opened in 1995, has been at topic of interest amongst travelers, researchers and conspiracy theorists since it’s conception.

IA is the largest airport in the United States and the second largest in the world to King Fahd International Airport.

The aesthetics of the airport were a particular concern amongst it’s designers according to public reports. Ominous art lines the interior and exterior of the massive 53 square mile complex, ranging from murals depicting some type of future apocalypse to massive statues which some say represent evil on every level. . . . Denver Airport UFO Hub?

UFO Phil was trying to raise enough money to build a spaceport in Colorado a couple years ago. I wonder now if somebody took him seriously?
A Denver news crew was in for a surprise when the “UFO nut”, ummm unidentified man, who wouldn’t leave them alone, finally challenged them to bring their own camera and capture video themselves. Whoa! They caught their own images. Darn right they did. The Fox 31 crew then went into investigate mode, even encouraging viewers with info to call the station’s tip line. They interviewed “experts”. And more experts. Whatever is flying over Denver is truly “unidentified”. It’s certainly worth watching. Lot’s of negative commentary on their web page, most of which leans to “It’s bugs, you fools” (though I cleaned it up a bit). Frankly, I can’t tell whether it’s insects, but there ought to be a way…Hmmmm…
Now, my geekiness went into full gonzo on how to test the validity of these videos. Turns out it is just too simple. Shoot with two cameras separated by a couple feet, but watching the same patch of sky or scenery. If only one camera captures the fleeting flyby, it’s an insect. If both capture it in similar frame locations, it’s not a bug. Voila. Or it’s one of Ender Wiggins‘ bugs.

UFOs over Denver (maybe)

By Mike Krumboltz | The Sideshow –15 Nov 2012

Straight out of the X Files comes this clip from Denver’s Fox 31. Last week, a viewer sent the station a video of something … something spooky. A flying object was buzzing in the sky, and it looked like maybe it was carrying little green men.
Was it really a UFO? Suspecting the clip was a prank, the TV station sent out its own photojournalist to see if he could document the same weirdness on his own. Guess what? He did.

Pot Prohibition: Initiative Could Make or Break Obama in Colorado

from Cannabis News

Denver — Throughout his presidency, Barack Obama hasn’t exactly been a friend to marijuana users. Sure, he has acknowledged smoking pot as a young man, but he has disappointed marijuana advocates by opposing its legalization, regulation and taxation like alcohol.

And the Justice Department’s occasional crackdown under his administration on medical marijuana dispensaries, which 17 states and the District of Columbia allow, has angered others.

So now, with Obama facing a stiff challenge from Republican Mitt Romney in the November 6 election, it’s ironic that his chances of winning the key state of Colorado could hinge on marijuana legalization, supported by a growing number of Americans.

At issue is whether Obama will get a boost from young voters expected to be among the most enthusiastic backers of a Colorado ballot initiative that would legalize possession of up to an ounce of pot for recreational use – and give the state the most liberal marijuana law in the nation.

The initiative is a reflection of Colorado’s unique blend of laid-back liberalism and anti-regulation conservatism that helped make the state the birthplace of the Libertarian Party.

It’s a state where people of different political stripes see marijuana laws as an example of government needlessly sticking its nose where it doesn’t belong.

It’s also a proving ground for advocates who see legalization as a way to ease crowding in prisons, generate much-needed tax revenues, create jobs and weaken Mexican cartels that thrive on Americans’ appetite for illegal drugs. . . . Read Complete Report
