Recently obtained by The Associated Press through the Freedom of Information Act, the updated FBI files do show the extent the agency was monitoring Monroe for ties to communism in the years before her death in August 1962. Monroe’s file begins in 1955 and mostly focuses on her travels and associations, searching for signs of leftist views and possible ties to communism. . . . Read Complete Report

Extremely rare footage and images of Marilyn Monroe in May of 1962. The images in this clip show Marilyn rehearsing for her now famous performance of “Happy Birthday,” sung to President John F. Kennedy during the Presidential Birthday Gala at Madison Square Garden on May 19, 1962. The candid footage shows Marilyn wearing the same outfit from rehearsals, traveling from and to Madison Square Garden, and entering and leaving her NYC apartment at 444 East 57th Street. Pat Newcomb, Marilyn’s publicist, travels with her in the limousine.

To all of the Veterans of the United States wars who have given their all,

 

 

 

 

 

 

so we at home could enjoy the fruits of our labor, and the freedoms we are letting slip through our fingers…

And to those heroes who returned to us missing limbs, blind and mentally burned out,

to inadequate medical and mental help and sometimes even end up living on the streets, or worst.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

And to the modern warriors who were lucky enough to return with sound minds and bodies, ready to go to work and build new lives,

to find there are no jobs and many of their homes have been taken from their families due to greed at the highest levels.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I say to you… pray with us at THEI as we hope that those of us who have remained in the Homeland wake up soon and have the courage and guts to reclaim those rights and freedoms as seen by our forefathers that are being shredded under Executive orders and secret society deals every day. 

 At any rate, America’s Heroes one and all, today is YOUR DAY.  Relax and enjoy yourselves .. you gals and guys deserve it.
