Fast & Furious West Coast Branch? LAPD launches probe into alleged resale of weapons by SWAT officers

While this may look like a local story  of interest only to those on the Left Coast, I assure you it’s all part of the big picture.  Those guns will end up killing other people, both innocent and guilty on BOTH sides of the border.  All in the name of tightning our gun laws. Did i just write that?  The law is stealing guns to sell to the people who are trying to kill them AND all in the name of promoting less guns in America’s citizens hands… it IS a strange world we live in! . . . The department is conducting the second investigation into allegations that officers bought specially-made handguns with an ‘LAPD SWAT’ insignia and resold them at a steep profit.

The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating whether members of its elite SWAT unit took advantage of their assignments to purchase large numbers of specially-made handguns and resell the weapons for steep profits, according to a report released Friday by the independent watchdog overseeing the department.

The allegations, if true, could be a violation of federal firearm laws and city ethics regulations. . . . Read Complete Report
