Fox News President Roger Ailes:
“We reject the government’s efforts to criminalize the pursuit of investigative journalism and falsely characterize a Fox News reporter to a federal judge as a ‘co-conspirator’ in a crime,” he added, referring to the FBI’s tracking of James Rosen in connection with a leak investigation.”
“Reports of the FBI’s tracking of Rosen’s movements, phone, and email conversations with a government source followed the disclosure last week that phone records of Associated Press reporters had been seized as part of another Justice Department probe of leaked government information. But unlike the AP reporters, Rosen was named as a “co-conspirator” by FBI officials in a warrant authorization request approved by Attorney General Eric Holder that allowed the search of Rosen’s emails.” . . . President Obama‘s failing gun control campaign peppered the air waves with the slogan “If we can save just one life.” However, when it comes to the estimated 17,000 annual deaths from illegal drugs flowing over our porous southern border with Mexico, the President is remarkably silent. President Obama’s four years of border control failures have led to the deaths of tens of thousands of American men, women and children.
The President does not have the legal power to legislate gun control for any purpose even if it sounds honorable. However, Obama does have a legal obligation to protect American citizens and secure the US borders. Since Obama took office, Mexican drug cartels have moved record loads of illegal drugs, relatively unencumbered, across the US southern border. The current year’s data is not available, but based upon 2010 data; these trafficked drugs have killed over twice as many Americans (over 17,000) as those taken in firearm homicides (8036). In fact, in 2010 there were more illicit drug use deaths in America then accidental non-lethal firearms shootings. . . . Read Complete Report
Sounds like ‘Barry Soetoro” Obama has dusted off the old playbook of “Tricky Dick” Nixon. Wonder why Barry didn’t name his re-election committee CREEP?
When will America wake up to the fact that our current administration is NOT interested in citizen rights. Only in bringing fourth their agenda of a New Socialist Society using every thing in their power to bring down those who are exposing that fact. . . . EDITOR

Recharged tea party demands justice in IRS targeting scandal
Conservatives are fuming as more damning information surfaces regarding the Internal Revenue Service’s targeting of tea party groups for excessive review of their tax-exempt status during the 2012 elections.
An apology Friday by the IRS conceding the “inappropriate” practice of singling out groups with keywords like “Tea Party,” “Patriot” and “9/12 Project” in their names to flag for heightened, typically burdensome, scrutiny is “not sufficient reparation for violating the constitutional rights of United States citizens,” said Jenny Beth Martin, national coordinator for the Tea Party Patriots. . . Congressional members have given the IRS until Wednesday to provide copies of all agency communications that include the words “tea party,” “patriot,” and “conservative.”
At the same time, Fox News reported on Monday that the IRS may have been casting an even wider net, and agents could have unfairly targeted groups that touted better government economic policy and debt pay-down. Also among the targeted: Groups that tried to educate about the Constitution or government policy critics, Fox News said. . . . Read Complete Report

Gingrich: IRS Targeting Scandal Raises Issues About Obamacare
The Internal Revenue Service’s targeting of conservative groups raises serious questions about how it plans to handle the taxes and penalties associated with Obamacare, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich says, and he thinks the president owes apologies for the agency’s conduct.
“[President Barack Obama] has a huge problem, because Obamacare relies very heavily on the IRS,” Gingrich said Monday on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.”
“Why would you trust the bureaucracy with your health if you can’t trust the bureaucracy with your politics?” he added a moment later. . . . Read Complete Report
A few conspiracy-minded observers have wondered if the Obama Administration dropped the IRS political-audit scandal to distract attention from the Benghazi scandal. It’s starting to look as if the reverse conspiracy theory would be more plausible, because the IRS thing is going nuclear. Four days in, and we still haven’t heard a single word from the President who bends our ears so relentlessly when he’s got an agenda to push, even as more high-profile commentators – most recently George Will, on ABC’s This Week – are reminding us that Nixon’s fall was partly due to just this sort of politicized abuse of Internal Revenue Service power.
We’ve learned that the target list for these political IRS audits was far broader than we initially thought. Fox News got its hands on a timeline prepared by the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration that shows this scurrilous operation growing even faster than most government programs do: . . . Wolf Takes To House Floor To Call For House Select Committee To Investigate Terrorist Attack In Benghazi
Washington, D.C. (January 23, 2013) – Rep. Frank Wolf (R-VA) today delivered an in-depth speech on the House floor reiterating the need for a House select committee to investigate the terrorist attack in Benghazi and powerfully indicting the Obama Administration’s policies in North Africa.
Wolf stressed that in the nearly five months since the attack, the Congress and the American people are no closer to understanding what caused the attack or bringing the terrorists responsible to justice. . . . Read Complete Report

GOP senators want Obama to release Benghazi names
A trio of Republican senators are calling on President Obama to release the names of Benghazi survivors to Congress after the White House said it was unaware anyone was blocked from testifying.
Sens. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), John McCain (R-Ariz.) and Kelly Ayotte (R-N.H.) wrote to Obama on Wednesday asking that names be released of the survivors of last year’s attack at the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya, for interviews with Congress.
“In light of your comments yesterday about the Benghazi attacks, we again request your administration immediately provide the names of the Benghazi survivors to Congress so we can conduct interviews to gain a clearer understanding of what happened before, during, and after the attack,” the senators wrote. . . . Four years ago, my remarkably prescient wife warned, “You just watch, one day he will go after our retirement accounts.” The “he” she was referring to was the new President who had placed priorities on “spreading the wealth” and “transforming America.”
I responded that no politician, not even the uber progressive Barack Obama, would be foolish enough to confiscate personal IRA and 401-k accounts. It looks like my wife was right, again. . . Read Complete Report

The left-leaning Public Policy Polling has found an overwhelming support from Texas Republicans to impeach President Obama.
