This series of spectacular NASA/GSAC photos of earth featurung the full circle of the Aurora Borealis, or more popularly known as the Northern Lights were taken from the spacecraft Dynamics Explorer 1 at about 0120 UT on November 8, 1981. According to the information released to me along with the photos by NASA, "these images at ultraviolet wavelengths was obtained with the University Iowa's auroral imaging instrumentation. . . . Time to complete one image 12 minutes . . . " NASA also provided us with the information that the "Altitude of the NASA/GSAC spacecraft Dynamics Explorer 1 at outset of image acquisition is 3.19 earth radii at geographic latitude 40.5o and local time 7.9 hours. [I inturpet this to mean "deep in space." What NASA does not say was that once again 80 years after Marshall B. Gardner put forth his hollow earth theory we find photos thar support his belief of the unexplained light having originated on earth...
"We claim, on the basis of our theory, to explain definitely what causes the auroral lights: that the central sun, flashing its beam through the polar openings, is the cause."
Marshall B. Gardner
