The coroner’s accident report on Michael Hastings’ death has been released and the official statement says it is “auto vs. fixed object (tree)”. But what does it take to cause a car to explode “like a bomb” on frontal impact? Is it possible for the engine to be ejected 150 in the air in a different direction than the vehicle was traveling?

Hastings became a vocal critic of the surveillance state during the investigation of reporters by the US Department of Justice in 2013, referring to the restrictions on the freedom of the press by the Obama administration as a “war” on journalism.[5] His last story, “Why Democrats Love To Spy On Americans”, was published by BuzzFeed on June 7.[6] Hastings died in a fiery high-speed automobile crash on June 18, 2013 in Los Angeles, California.

The video was obtained from Weekly contributor Michael Krikorian, whose girlfriend, Nancy Silverton, owns Pizzeria Mozza, which is located at Melrose and Highland just a few hundred feet from the site of the fatal crash. .. (Paul Joseph Watson) — The revelation that Rolling Stone journalist Michael Hastings was working on a story about the CIA before his death and had contacted a Wikileaks lawyer about being under investigation by the FBI hours before his car exploded into flames has bolstered increasingly valid claims that the 33-year-old was assassinated.

Hastings died early Tuesday morning in Hollywood when his car allegedly hit a tree at high speed. The Los Angeles Coroner’s office has not yet been able to officially identify the body as Hastings because it is so badly burned.

LONDON — A British university is delaying the release of an academic paper on how the anti-theft systems of millions of Volkswagen vehicles are at risk of being hacked after the German carmaker took legal action against it.

In a statement, the University of Birmingham said it would “defer publication” of the paper — which explains how researchers were able to subvert Volkswagen’s security system — after an interim injunction issued by England’s High Court.
