1947 the USA are building the Alaska Highway. Reading Byrd’s log of Feb 19 1947 and knowing the area would put base camp between Fort Nelson B.C. And Watson Lake. Altho it’s still winter with snow and cold it is not high arctic and he would have compass reliability, radio communication, sun and light. Because of no aeronautical maps at the time would not know that he was flying into the Nahanni.
Compared to mine Byrd’s experience — taint nothin.

For the truth of Byrd’s “flight” to the north pole in February 1947 you only need to turn to my research report right here on THEI. Here are links to my examination of this farce along with a video that I feel is the smoking gun evidence that the diary is not only purposeful . Follow the continuing investigation.

This so-called “Missing Diary of Admiral Byrd” is  pure disinformation and a blatant case of plagiarism.. . And I can prove  that can along with a smoking gun back up my claims. But you decide. Joe and
I started bush flying about the same time for Gateway Aviation out of
Ft Smith where Chris’s mother and I met:) Joe and I were not all that
close but we shared some experiences together.
      So Chris attended
convention in Yellowknife and with visiting the bush pilots monument
and Wild Cat Cafe I also mentioned that if he ran across anyone from
Buffalo Air ask about Joe Mcbride of the TV series Ice Pilots. He did
and met Joe asking if he new me and I guess it was kinda like old
home week and Chris got a tour plus a bunch of Buffalo nicnacs, neat
      aye!

I remember Joe as a mellow fellow I would wonder tho what his writers
      would do with this;
      Because
its summer and no darkness leaving Fort Smith in the middle of the
night, both Joe and I had taken two Cessna 185s down to Ft Vermillion
initiating a five AM departure. On approach I had tucked in a bit
above and behind having us in formation. Our passengers waiting on
the dock would be impressed that we were on time and with sunrise
having us appear in formation and then turning above them checking
the water for landing coming round still in formation to grease the
water at the same time. Maybe had Joe known of this we would be
      scraping the mellow fellow bit.

+Bruce Voigt That supposed “diary” was a forgery. Admiral Byrd was in Antarctica on Feb 19th 1947, not at the north pole. Even if he was at the north pole at the time, it would have been dark for nearly 24 hours a day that time of year and he wouldn’t have been able to see “green vegetation”. Nor would his instruments work because he would have been north of “magnetic north” and he would of had to fly blind in the dark which is extremely dangerous, which is why pilots go around the poles instead of over them. Let’s search for the truth not by propagating lies.
+Paradigm Brodsky with due respect read slower and a map of Canada would help. Oh and I have many hours flying the high arctic in the dark which “is” extremely dangerous. CBC introduced the series Arctic Air and being away from flying and the north for quite some time enjoyed the first two episodes. They came with rags to riches; quest; comedy (confusion reigns: love triumphs); tragedy (human overreaching); rebellion; and mystery. I will add scenery and sound and just closed my eyes to the sound of the old jake coming from a pt 6 turbine hope they keep the scenery original. Wrote my book on arctic flying, sent it out and got it back saying they did not except fiction. I think a little so called fiction would really boost ratings. I flew for Arctic Air in the sixties out of Fort Simpson and in the Nahanni experienced some of what Admiral Richard Byrd talks of.
