from Godfather Politics

Rather than wait and see what the Obama Administration and a complacent Congress choose to foist on American gun owners, Wyoming legislators are proposing a Firearms Protection Act.

The proposed legislation would protect gun owners from any federal bans on assault weapons or large-capacity magazines by making federal laws against semiautomatic rifles and clips unenforceable within the state.

The proposed legislation would go as far as making any federal agent who tried to enforce a federal anti-gun law within the state subject to a felony. It would also allow the Wyoming Attorney General’s office to defend state residents. . . . Read Complete Report

25% Of World’s Gold Buried Underneath The NY Fed (w/Video)

from The Daily Bail

Speaking of terrorist plots to blow up the NY Fed.

According to the government, 25% of the entire global supply of gold, approximately $355 billion, is buried six stories below ground, underneath the Federal Reserve Bank of New York building at 33 Liberty Street in downtown Manhattan.  The same Federal Reserve Bank that was targeted by an alleged Al-Qaeda linked terrorist with a fake 1,000-pound bomb.  Of course, until we audit the Fed, all claims of fortressed gold are just heresay.  You can book a tour to see the bars for yourself.  But in that case, seeing might be disbelieving. . . . The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has proposed a new unified standard for event data recorders for cars, commonly known as “black boxes.”

Such devices, which are already in use in 96 percent of 2013 model year cars, record various types of data that can be accessed in multiple ways. The agency also estimates that 92 percent of 2010 model year cars have “some EDR capability.” The NHTSA estimates that requiring EDRs would add just $20 in manufacturing costs to each car. . . .
