To Jamie Edwards, a 13 year old student from Penwortham, England, setting the record of being the youngest person to build a nuclear fusion reactor was more important than video games or girls. That last part will probably change within a couple years, but his enthusiasm for science is very real and, for now, he’s a record holder.
Of course, that also means he’s on the radar: Will he be a NASA scientist delving into the workings of the solar system or will he be kept under constant CIA surveillance lest his brain power fall under the control of some nefarious terrorist organization, like, say Disney World?

In eye-opening testimony before a Senate subcommittee, the co-founder of the environmental activist group Greenpeace refuted assertions that carbon dioxide emissions from human activity are responsible for global warming.

EDITOR”S NOTE: While I agree with most of what Dr Moore said in his testimony, there is a far more intriguing question that should be considered: If the Earth (and all other bodies in the solar system) are in getting warmer – and they are – and no human actions are causing it, what is?
.My hypothesis that follows that posit is that all the solar system bodies are creating new heat energy (and maybe many, many more spectra of energy) and new matter all the time, connected to a universal background source of immense energy, a backbone, in the terms that networkers like to use. SOUTH PARIS, ME (WMTW/CNN) – A man used his camera phone to record a giant fireball in the sky.
He’s not sure what it was, but plenty of other people are willing to take a guess.
“I just happened to catch something out of the corner of my eye,” Bruce York said.
He said he was just driving along Route 26 at 5 p.m., when he noticed what looked like a fireball in the sky.
He grabbed his mobile phone and started recording.

A new website called RememberThe13th.com is claiming to be an announcement from NASA that on November 13, 2013, NASA will announce a ‘Major Discovery’ that will ‘Shake the World’. The interesting thing about this ‘announcement is that the site is not on NASA’s servers, which are offline due to the historic government shutdown, now in it’s third day.
The domain, RememberThe13th.com, according to DomainTools.com, was Creation date: 01 Oct 2013 16:16:00 [1]
In NASA’s history of warnings, this one coming from namecheap.com appears to be the ultimate prank that will be difficult for NASA to refute given that their site NASA.gov is currently offline. Whether this is criminal fraud in causing alarm to potentially millions of people, remains to be seen.
