It’s sad to see how much our world has been destroyed over the past 70 years as well as the health & lives of so many humans & animals and all in the name of politics and the all mighty dollar! You see the only reason cannabis was prohibited is because a group of five very wealthy, greedy, and corrupt high powered business men/politicians who did not want to lose their life savings & businesses to cannabis; which was supposed to be the source for pretty much EVERYTHING on this planet beginning in the late 1920’s. Cannabis was going to be used for fuel, food, medicine, and over 5000 textiles and 50,000 products according to an article written in 1928 by the Popular Mechanics titled “Billion Dollar Crop”.

“They’re headed only one way over the long run… up!”
A Charleroi man was arrested Saturday night for allegedly stealing a bag of marijuana that had been seized as evidence from the Charleroi Regional police department.
David Allan Thompson, 27, of 426 Fallowfield Ave., reportedly stopped at the station at 338 Fallowfield Ave. about 8 p.m.
Officer David Kimball, who had been working on reports from other incidents that day, took Thompson to a room to speak with him. Kimball left the room to retrieve his cellphone, telling Thompson he would be right back, according to the affidavit by police filed with District Judge Jay Weller. Kimball went to the patrol room to get his phone, noticing Thompson had followed him into that room.
Thompson was escorted out of the patrol room and back into the original room by Kimball. After Thompson finished talking with the officer, he left the station.
Kimball, according to the complaint, returned to the patrol room to finish the report and log evidence, including the marijuana, which he noticed was gone. After checking to see if another officer had bagged it, Kimball searched the desk. . . . Read Complete Report
I’ve heard smoking pot blamed for some of the most ridiculous things in the world over the last 70 years but I’ve got to admit this one takes the cake. Of course I’m not saying that some of the good people who played cannibalistic zombies in the hit TV series “The Living Dead” hadn’t smoked a bowl or two before the shoot. . . but pot causing the recent “cannibal” attacks would be funny as hell if I wasn’t so tired of the misinformation about one of the most useable plants on our green earth. lets FACE it, That’s carryin “making a munchies run ” just a bit far.

As I told staff this morning in an email, last night and this morning have been surreal being inundated with media requests for interviews on two totally disparate topics related to cannabis:
–Media headlines (and some experts’ claims) that cannabis might have caused a guy to kill and chew his victim’s face off
Talk about one topic being ‘good’, the other one being ‘bad’ (if not totally bizarre)!
It is one thing for the media to report on the toxicological results from the autopsy of the guy who did this strange and gruesome maiming in Miami last month, but to read a professor of psychiatry at the University of Miami pop off to the Associated Press that maybe it was the strain of cannabis that might have caused this guy to become a cannibal strikes me that this professor is totally incorrect beyond belief and that her comments as an ‘expert’ are going to be repeated in any future news stories, radio and TV shows on the matter of cannabis’ safety. . . .
