What happened to the expedition? Any news or updates? Where did the video go from June of 2012? I’m very interested in this!

      Hi Ellen
Here is the latest I could find:
      “New Items

1/7/2013. Saturday I received an update from our expedition leader, Dr. Brooks Agnew. And yesterday he was on Coast to Coast (third hour with George Noory’s 10th Year Anniversary). Dr. Agnew says the New York company that had promised to fund our expedition has disappeared. He even had their address visited and they’re just gone! So now we’re back to square one in getting financing for our North Pole Inner Earth Expedition. Dr. Agnew has created a funding campagin on Indiegogo. So please take a moment to check it out on Indiegogo and also share it with your friends. All the tools are there. Get perks, make a contribution, or simply follow updates. If enough of us get behind it, we can make ‘North Pole Inner Earth Expedition’ happen.”

There are arctic tours being conducted all the time. I find it astonishing that these arctic tour ships… well equipped… are not going to the RIM and possibly into the hole just far enough to see the inner sun or the reflection of land to duplicate the historic missions by nansen and Jansen. I’ll be contacting these tour companies one by one to see what they say. Certainly we can convince a tour of an existing ship to at least approach the rim to see the foreshortened horizon. As well, we can use Agnew’s idea for a gyroscope to moniter its angle as a tour ship goes slightly into the rim. One seat on these tours runs about $12 to $20K so we should pool our money to send agnew on one those tour ships that agrees to approach 87/140. How does that sound ?

I have been watching the hollow earth expedition sites and came the the conclusion it’s just a money making enterprise. They have been touting the trip since the internet began.(or at least since I started browsing). No one at all appears to have even attempted the trip and I suspect never will. I would look better to be challenged on this. But I won’t hold my breath!
