Why you should support the Fair Tax

Why YOU should support the FAIRTAX…

Dear Friend,

The reason you received this email is because a friend thought you would like to receive a 15-25% pay raise.

Interested?  Read on.

There is only one-way to give yourself a raise like this.

Passing the FairTax Plan right now!

Not only does the FairTax Plan give you more of your own money, it also eliminates the IRS. Yes, all 106,000 IRS employees.

When this happens, the FairTax gives you control of when and how you pay your taxes by when and how much you spend on new goods and services.

That’s why the Founding Fathers NEVER imposed an income tax. They understood that the power to tax our income was an affront to our Freedom.

You see, the FairTax plan, when presented without bias, can stand on its own two feet:

➢ It ends the income tax;
➢ It ends the estate tax;
➢ It ends the payroll tax;
➢ It ends the capital gains tax;
➢ It ends the self-employment tax;
➢ It ends the incentive to move jobs overseas
➢ It ends the IRS, and

More importantly,

It is fair: no loopholes, no special deals, no exclusions, no class warfare;
It is simple:  no hunting for receipts, no filing returns, no fear of audits;
It is transparent: you know how much you pay in taxes every time you buy new goods and services;
It supports economic growth by creating jobs; and,
It is revenue neutral, bringing in the same amount of money as the current system.

You want to take home your entire paycheck, and control your tax bill by how much you spend?

Join this national grassroots movement of patriots who support the FairTax Plan by clicking here right now.

Thank you for your consideration.

For the FairTax,

    I received the following e-mail from Stephen C. Eldridge and while I disagree with Mt. Eldridge in general in all fairness I am happy to let Mr. Eldridge state his problems with the Fair Tax here on THEI. . . EDITOR

    Because you published a propaganda piece by the FairTax lobby organization, in fairness I ask you to publish my Letter, attached.

    Thank you.

    The “Fair Tax” is a Fraud – we need a 10% “Tithe”!

    I am a retired tax lawyer (JD, LLM in Taxation)/CPA, with no financial stake in ANY tax system. I can support every comment I make – for supporting details, call Stephen C. Eldridge tel. 423-532-7337.

    The so-called “Fair Tax” (“FT”) is a fraud – it is MORE WEALTH REDISTRIBUTION, AND a financial SCAM.

    In their own words, FT proudly advertises that it is MORE PROGRESSIVE (INCREASES WELFARE).

    The Prebate is advertised as merely repaying the poor for any FT they pay, but actually would pay them far more than any FT they might pay and also gives the working poor free SS/Medi. The Prebate is NOT a refund of FT paid, it is a new $600B ENTITLEMENT, leaving ALL Americans receiving a monthly check from the federal govt – a very bad idea for those of us who are not Socialists. More poor people will be receiving free SS/Medi.

    The FT hits us with a 40-70% in-your-face retail sales tax that would spark a taxpayer rebellion that would destroy our 70% retail-sales-sensitive economy. 40% = 30% (not 23%) FT + e.g., 10% S/L sales tax and 70% is the rate needed at a sample 30% FT evasion rate (the FT incredibly assumes ZERO evasion and ZERO intentional reduction in spending and ZERO migration from new to used goods).

    IN ADDITION to that 40-70% tax, the FT contains several HIDDEN TAXES.

    1) FT’s 30% rate is really 42+%; the 12+% is hidden by having fed + S/L govts paying FT – they must get that money from you.
    2) The initial 30% rate is 1-5% short and that plus any other revenue shortfall will have to be made up by raising more FT (or a NEW Income Tax),
    3) The fed budget will rise for
    a) SS benefits because the FT-guaranteed SS COLA of almost 30%, b) fraudulent new SS benefits, c) COLA’s payable to all federal retirees – and more FT (or a NEW Income Tax) we be required to fund these.

    The NEW IRS (i.e., the STAA) may well be far worse, far more invasive than today’s IRS (the buyer is liable to pay FT and get/show a receipt) – we may well have to file an “Annual FT Summary”.

    We may well wind up with BOTH a NEW Income Tax AND the FT.
    Seniors will start to pay for SS/Medi again and some will pay a 2nd-3rd tax on their earnings. Many middle class seniors will pay more tax under FT and many will lose purchasing power because of the 15-30% price increase.

    What we need is a Flat Income Tax with No Deductions, No Exemptions, No Credits and a 10% rate, with business income taxed to shareholders on a very simple basis (i.e., no corporate income tax) –

    See H.R. 1040, but with changes as noted here. Call your representatives in Congress and let them know that this is what you want.

  2. Mark Curran says:

    Im still offering any Fairtax spokesmen sucker or dupe, to show one page of that 22 million in “research” about a simple personal retail sales tax to replace all other fed taxes.

    Here is a clue — there is not one page of such research. If you can find it, I will give you 50,000 dollars, for ONE page of such “research”.

    Fairtax sounds great, but it’s not even a tax plan, it’s a fraud by lying bastards. The “research” is not research at all but a set of goofy “assumptions” like massive taxes on city county and states that could exceed 2 trillion dollars, and the clever “assumption” in the fine print is that would need an “increase in tax rates” at all city county and state levels.

    Cities, under Fiartax fraudulent (deliberately misleading and confusing) small print, would pay 23% tax on all wage and pension expenditures. This would cost Texas over 5 billion, and not just all states, but all cities and counties too.

    Yet they tell suckers its a simple “personal retail consumption tax”. Only PART of this fraud is a personal retail consumption tax, the biggest part of Fairtax projected and fraudulent revenue would be from these massive impossible and unconstitutional taxes on city and states.

    The “research” is not research at all, and is by their own paid public relations firm — Beacon Hill. Importantly, in that “research” are the massive other taxes cleverly inserted as assumptions. Assumptions snuck into the fine print is not research, in fact, it’s quite the opposite.

    DO you seriously think Texas is going to send in 5 billion because these clowns wrote a few words in the fine print?

    On top of the massive taxes on city county and states, hidden in deceptive assumptions, are huge impossible taxes on the poor, even on Medicare and medicaid patients, a 23% tax on their “consumption” of cancer surgery and chemo. Think destitute cancer patients can and will pay massive taxes?

    Why did Fairtax lying bastards include these massive other taxes in the deceptive fine print? To make their goofy math add up.

    Read the fine print, and don’t believe lying bastards.
