Every war that has ever been waged by mankind has always spurred on the stories and legends of lost or stolen fortunes. In fact, there isn’t a country or territory on the face of this earth that doesn’t have at least one legend concerning treasure as a result of military conflict. World War Two was certainly no exception. (1)

At the entrance to Manila Bay in the Philippine Islands and bordering the South China Sea lies a tiny island only nine square kilometers in size; a rocky outcropping that was to play a significant role in the war with Japan between the years 1942 – 1945 . . . Read Complete Report

Executive Order 6102

On April 5, 1933, President Roosevelt signed Executive Order 6102 making the hoarding of gold certificates, coins and bullion illegal by American citizens, forcing them to sell their gold to the Federal Reserve. The value of the gold held by the Federal Reserve increased from $4 billion to $12 billion between 1933 and 1937.

On March 6, 1933, Executive Order (EO) 6073 was passed by Franklin Delano Roosevelt (FDR), the 32nd President of the United States in an attempt to solve the dire banking crisis. Executive orders have been around since 1789, allowing Presidents to issue legally binding orders unilaterally, without the consent of Congress. During his Presidential tenure, from 1933 to 1945, Roosevelt would issue 3,728 Executive Orders. This was his third and it was a doozy. . . . Read Complete Report

25% Of World’s Gold Buried Underneath The NY Fed (w/Video)

from The Daily Bail

Speaking of terrorist plots to blow up the NY Fed.

According to the government, 25% of the entire global supply of gold, approximately $355 billion, is buried six stories below ground, underneath the Federal Reserve Bank of New York building at 33 Liberty Street in downtown Manhattan.  The same Federal Reserve Bank that was targeted by an alleged Al-Qaeda linked terrorist with a fake 1,000-pound bomb.  Of course, until we audit the Fed, all claims of fortressed gold are just heresay.  You can book a tour to see the bars for yourself.  But in that case, seeing might be disbelieving. . . . It’s a core part of California lore. Back in 1848, golden rocks were discovered in the hills north of Sacramento. The value of the element caught attention nationally, drawing thousands of hopeful miners out to northern California. The small state trading post of San Francisco quickly boomed into a large city.

Gold mining still happens today, with higher yields than ever before. Considering mining’s impact on the planet, and the global appetite for gold, we decided to visit a working mine near Shasta, California. . . . Read Complete Report

After stirring excitement across Europe, “Roads of Arabia” has come to the U.S. to parade remarkable archaeological finds from the Arabian Peninsula. The version on view at the Smithsonian’s Arthur M. Sackler Gallery might be trimmer than its predecessors, according to Sackler chief curator Massumeh Farhad, but it still boasts 300-plus noteworthy objects. Particularly exciting is the unexpected range of works and the fact that many were unearthed in the past decade, some by fortuitous accident, others the product of concerted archaeological research the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has been undertaking with increasing determination since the 1970s.

The works come primarily from centers that arose along two sets of routes:. . Read Complete Report

According to the Helmel Gazette newspaper, the man – whose name has not been made public – reportedly bought a beginner’s metal detector from a shop in the Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, area. A few weeks later, the man returned to the shop, showed the shopkeepers 40 gold coins, and asked them: “What do I do with this?” . . . Read Complete Report

His name was Horse Eagle. He was full Indian dressed with buckskin fringed trousers, beaded vest and war bonnet. . . . Read Complete Report

ScienceDaily (Sep. 6, 2012) — In the quest for the cosmic origins of heavy elements, Heidelberg scientist Dr. Camilla Hansen has established that silver can only have materialised during the explosion of clearly defined types of star. These are different from the kind of stars producing gold when they explode. The evidence for this comes from the measurement of various high-mass stars with the help of which the stepwise evolution of the components of all matter can be reconstructed. . . . August 14, 2012, Tuesday

Bulgarian archaeologists expect to find at the holy rock city of Perperikon the largest ever medieval coin treasure in the country.

The announcement was made by leading Bulgarian archaeologist, Prof. Nikolay Ovcharov, after his team recently found a total 11 gold and 6 silver coins.

The gold coins are from the 14th century while the silver ones are from the end of the 13th century.

The coins have been found dispersed in what has been used as a toilet hole with a 2-meter diameter, leading the experts to believe that they were hidden and buried during the Ottoman invasion of the area. Such treasures were usually placed in clay pots or similar vessels and then concealed, while for the latest find it is believed that the coins were put in some sort of a purse, which has decomposed over the years. . . .
