ENVIRONMENTAL SPACE SCIENCES is a book taught at the Air Force Academy and written by Professor who was the originator of the Space Science Course at the USAF Academy. Colonel was also the Commander of the SPACETRACK Radar Site at Shemya, Alaska. Col. Carpenter was kind enough to send Eastern MUFON the book he edited and wrote with six other officers. Most of the book pertains to science of space, the sun, planets, plasmas, magnetic fields, radiation, meteors, planets, space dust, Cosmo chemistry, the planets and moons. George Filer copied this chapter manually for you the reader, because I felt it was of importance, so I hope you enjoy it.
All the chapters are of interest to the Ufologist, such as the Search for Extraterrestrial Life, but most important is Chapter XXXIII “The UFO Mystery.”

This is a story about climbing a mountain path in the Redwood Forest north of Santa Cruz and close to San Francisco.
Friends took me on a sight-seeing tour to a place called “Mystery Spot,” elaborating, “This is a must-see!” Thus, on a sunny October day, we began an excursion to the Mystery Spot in the Redwoods.
An immense wooden gate towers over the parking lot at the entrance. The area we came to explore covers approximately 150 sq. ft. The cost is $5.00 per person, and a guide shepherds small groups to the spot—about six people at a time. . . . Read complete Report

A document declassified in the last few years is getting now getting attention for showing that the National Security Council under former President Ronald Reagan authorized stockpiling of a certain weapon. One item in the memo that was not declassified though is just what weapon the National Security Decision Directive (NSDD) 7 was allowed to load up on.
The document itself states: “The production and stockpiling of [deleted] weapons is authorized with stockpiling being restricted to the United States [deleted].” . . . Read Complete Report w/Document
Introduced to life under the sea in high school through snorkeling, Yoji Ookata obtained his scuba license at the age of 21. At the same time, he went out and bought a brand new NIKONOS, a 35mm film camera specifically designed for underwater photography. He devoted all his spare time – aside from his day job – to perfecting his art of underwater photography. Then, at age 39, he finally made the transition. He quit his office job and became a freelance underwater photographer.
But even for a man who spent the last 50 years immersed in the underwater world of sea life, the ocean proved infinitely mysterious. While diving in the semi-tropical region of Amami Oshima, roughly 80 ft below sea level, Ookata spotted something he had never seen. And as it turned out, no one else had seen it before either. . . . According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration less than five percent of the world’s oceans have been explored, meaning that 95% of what lies deep underwater on Earth has yet to be seen by human eyes. . . from text posted with video on youtube
ScienceDaily (Aug. 29, 2012) — University of Alberta researchers found evidence that a feathered, but flightless dinosaur was able to snag and consume small flying dinosaurs.

New Research Points to Dinosaurs’ Colorful Past.
There’s new evidence that dinosaurs, once thought to resemble scaly lizards, were in fact fluffy, colorful animals. Curator Mark Norell, who is chair of the Museum’s Division of Paleontology and studies important feathered dinosaurs from Liaoning, China, shares his thoughts on the significance of two new studies about fossilized feathers reported in the current issue of Science magazine. . . . Evidences for Giant Reptiles in the age of Man – Did remnants of the Dinosaur exist when our ancient ancestors did? If so, how can this be reconciled with history? There are archaeological artifacts that clearly show animals that we now view as being dinosaurs – clearly nothing that should have existed sometime within the last 12 thousand years.
In 2003 when I bought the Kolbrin from a book store in New Zealand (and I can almost guarantee I was one of the few to own it, at first) I read through every page and studied it. Both the philosophical aspects, planet x and I searched for paralells between other texts in various forms. One of the things that struck me, was this passage:
EGYPTIAN TEXTS

“In olden times, there were spawned great monsters and beasts in fearful form, with frightful gnashing teeth and long ripping claws; an elephant was but a rat in comparison with them. Then, because of heavenly rebellion and turmoil, and the terror overwhelming the hearts of men, The Great One hardened the face of the land, which had become unstable, and the beasts were changed to stone. This was beforetimes, when the Destroyer still slumbered in the upper vaults of Heaven.” . . . Read Complete Report w/ photo spread
After 16 years of planning the countdown is on for one of the most ambitious scientific missions to Antarctica. In October a 12-man team of British scientists, engineers and support staff will make the 16,000 km journey from the UK to go deep into the heart of the frozen continent to collect samples of water and sediments from an ancient lake buried beneath three kilometers of ice. Their quest is to reveal vital secrets about the Earth’s past climate and discover life forms that may live in subglacial Lake Ellsworth on the West Antarctic Ice Sheet.
Lake Ellsworth was mapped in detail by scientists using seismic survey techniques. They discovered a hidden lake 12km long, 3km wide and 150m deep, roughly the same size and depth as Windermere in the UK. . . . Read Complete Report w/ photos & video
