Ten years ago, the idea to drive across more than 1,000 miles of Antarctic wilderness between McMurdo and South Pole  stations as an alternative way to supply the latter with fuel and cargo was just an audacious idea.

[Ignored is any mention of the “snow Cruiser” taken to Antarctica with much fan fair and never to be mentioned again after offloading in Antarctica. See link below . . . EDITOR]

Now, Traverse Operations has two traverse platforms, South Pole Traverse 1 and 2 (SPoT1 and SPoT2), each making a round trip every austral summer between the U.S. Antarctic Program External U.S. government site research stations. It saves the National Science Foundation upwards of $2 million for each swing across the continent. And, perhaps in the next couple of years, the tractor train will partially drive itself, using “robotic” vehicles capable of autonomously following a manned tractor in front of it. . . . Editor’s NEW DVD Review: NAZIS at the Center of the Earth (w/video)

Last Thursday I stopped by my local Red Box to check out the latest DVD’s they had in the machine.  I bet you can almost imagine the look  of astonishment on my face. “NAZIS at the Center of the Earth” was the new release glaring back at me.   . . My first thought was that I was being Punked! (My conspiratorial  brain at work). In fact, I almost looked over my shoulder to see if my partner Rick Osmon was hiding in the parking lot.

Instead I rented the movie and headed home to watch it. On the way I thought about the whole concept. I have been researching the “just-out-of-reach” story of the Hollow Earth including the Nazi/Antarctica connection for the past 40 years wondering when a movie would be made regarding the rumors. Now they had finally done it. I just hoped it wasn’t hokey.  There have been several attempts to cover the Subterranean Worlds that have all been, well, hokey. Funny, making-fun. that was fine. I mean it is a far out idea.  But still . . .

Cast: Dominique Swain, Jake Busey, Christopher Karl Johnson, and Lilan Bowden.

To my enjoyable surprise the movie is well made, using top talent, great makeup and special effects (the “Flying Saucer” deserves a mention)  and is a lot of fun to watch.

Although some of the known history was stomped all over, i.e. In the movie Dr.Josef Mengele AKA the “Angel of Death” is the architect of the plan for a 4th Reich rising from the NAZIS who escaped to an underground base under the ice in Antarctica (Mengele died in 1978.)  Of course he has Hitler’s head in a portable contraption to appear to “head” the bunch of NAZIS he has with him to actually carry out the evil deeds.

When It came to the Hollow Earth information they presented it straight forward and factually in the form of Jake Busey filling in his companions as they traveled into the earth. Fair shake.

I was also delighted when they mounted Hitler’s head on a very muscular and large robot body and then turned piloting the ‘flying saucer’ over to the nut.  Superb.   After all,  I believe robotics figures into the plans of the Controllers in a big way. That’s why I just added a Department, Robotics to THEI. (Check it out). The NAZI solders stomping around appear to be robots also.

But even if I had known nothing of the subjects used in this top-of-the-line adventure story, I would still have enjoyed it immensely .  Reminds me of the great movies by Roger Corman.

I give it 4 stars. A must see. I predict this movie will become a big cult classic.  And if you are a Hollowearther and don’t run out right now and get your hands on a copy I’m ashamed of you . . . EDITOR

Admiral Byrd and the Secret Quest for Unknown Lands inside the Earth:

A Speculative Preliminary Research Report using Known Fact

I am constantly asked about my year (1995-96) of research into Admiral Richard E. Byrd and his expeditions and am now accumulating all of my research to put together a final report to be released in the near future;  In the mean time. . . .

I do have a theory about the involvement of Admiral Byrd in early 20th century Hollow Earth explorations.  I could find no positive “proof” of Admiral Byrd being involved in any such Expeditions although I do believe I have found enough supporting information to bring the possibility up to more than a 50 % chance.

I repeat: this is all just speculation of course. First let me put my “believer” foil hat on . . . yep, still fits. . . .here goes.

I do not believe that “Admiral Byrd “flew into the Hollow Earth.”

I do believe he was in charge of all operations in the secret explorations and that all of his Antarctic activities were directed towards exploring unknown lands inside the earth.  Here is the short version of my theory that fits what is actually known about his movements during the expeditions, time constrains, etc.

The Quest Begins

In 1926 following orders from his mentor and lifetime financial backer, John D. Rockefeller, Byrd made his first and only exploration flight in the northern area and found enough proof of what he was looking for 80 miles from the “north pole” to be able to turn back.  He never made it to the non-existent  “North Geological pole” because he had no need to.  What he needed to know – information regarding the measurement of the curvature of the planet – he found long before the non-existing “point” called the North Geographical Pole was reached. Because flying to “the pole” was the media spin for his activity, documents (since proven wrong) were doctored in a dis-information campaign to report “Byrd Flew to the North Pole.”

Byrd reported in and had a debriefing session with Rockefeller and other members of the Controller cartel.  They decided to concentrate their efforts in the quest for the mysteries of the poles at the southern end of our globe for a couple of reasons.  The Northern area of our planet is the most populated so therefore harder to hide movement and exploration and there is is a large land mass totally empty of permanent human occupation on which to build a permanent “home base” for operations.

So the first move in exploring “the lands beyond the poles” was the establishment in January 1929 by Richard Byrd[1] of the first of a series of base camps, all called Little America, from which operations in Antarctica would  be directed.

The Exploration’s Mobile Base

All of the so called “flights into the hollow earth” reported in books and on Hollow Earth sites are just planted disinformation; smoke and mirrors.  Any actual exploration of new lands MUST be done by boots on the ground. The actual exploration of the secretive “lands beyond the poles” begin with Admiral Byrd’s 1939 Expedition and the delivery of the snow cruiser to Little America.  More to come.

We are keeping a close eye on this research.  I’m sure  the scientific information found in Lake Vostok will answer a lot of questions about our planet and the Antarctic. I just hope the information is passed along to the world. Unfortunately at least one early scientific study of Antarctica never got beyond the Controllers.

In 1936-37 Admiral Byrd headed the first Antarctic extensive scientific study. After returning to America Byrd handed all 17 of the books filled with scientific information about the expedition over to his financier, David Rockefeller.  Despite a large outcry from his many scientific partners the 17 books containing this information have never been seen again. . . An American professor and expert of the Antarctic said he believes contact with a team of Russian scientists that has not made contact with colleagues in the U.S for seven days has merely been busy as they drill into a lake buried beneath the Antarctic ice for 20 million years.

Professor John Priscu told usnews.com in an email that the crews have been working ‘round the clock’ to beat the end of Antarctic summer, which ends Tuesday. Afterwards, temperatures will fall to deadly levels.

He said: ‘I can assure you that they are not lost or out of contact. I never said the Russians were lost.’

The scientists are currently battling conditions of up to minus 66C at Lake Vostok as they raced to drill into a lake buried two miles beneath the ice before the weather closed in. . . Read complete report

A group of Russian scientists plumbing the frozen Antarctic in search of a lake buried in ice for tens of millions of years have failed to respond to increasingly anxious U.S. colleagues — and as the days creep by, the fate of the team remains unknown.

“No word from the ice for 5 days,” Dr. John Priscu professor of Ecology at Montana State University, told FoxNews.com via email.

The team from Russia’s Arctic and Antarctic Research Institute (AARI) have been drilling for weeks in an effort to reach isolated Lake Vostok, a vast, dark body of water hidden 13,000 ft.  below the ice sheet’s surface. The lake hasn’t been exposed to air in more than 20 million years.

Priscu said there was no way to get in touch with the team — and the already cold weather is set to plunge, as Antarctica’s summer season ends and winter sets in.

“Temps are dropping below -40 Celsius [-40 degrees Fahrenheit] and they have only a week or so left before they have to winterize the station,” he said. “I can only imagine what things must be like at Vostok Station this week.”

Along with all the festivities surrounding the anniversary of explorer Robert Falcon Scott’s reaching the South Pole on 17 January 1912, Antarctic researchers are at the edge of their seats waiting for news that will merit another celebration. The centennial coincides with an expected new landmark: This week, a Russian team drilling into Lake Vostok in the center of the Antarctic continent is likely to break through the ice to water. It will be the first time that a subglacial lake has been breached. These modern-day explorers hope to discover whether Vostok, which at 5000 km 3 is the third largest lake on the planet, is teeming with hidden, cold-loving life that could have evolved separately from the rest of the world for hundreds of thousands of years.

Microbiologist John Priscu of Montana State University in Bozeman, who was one of the original planners of the Vostok mission, has been getting regular updates from the Russian team. As of 13 January, they had reached a depth of 3737.5 meters, about 15 meters away from liquid water. With three teams drilling around the clock and making progress at an average of 2 meters per day, Priscu says they’re on track to break through within the week. “This is an epic event. Are Hollow Earth Proponents Missing the Boat?

I was really surprised when the establishment scientific community finally admitted on the record, after years of speculation, that yes, Phobos, one of the moons of Mars, is indeed hollow. What surprised me even more was that even though the story was extensively covered, as in this story from the  Daily Galaxy story filed under the heading “You Can’t Make this Up Dept: Why is Phobos Moon Hollow?” ,   it seemed the Hollow Earth Community took a “ho-hum” attitude towards the revelation.  If the scientific community had let something like this out back in-the-day those early true Ufologist would have been shouting it from the rooftops.  After all it has been the contention of hollow earth proponents that all earthly bodies are hollow.  Now some REAL  proof and what’s our reaction? Yawn, ho -hum…who won the latest gimmick “reality” show.  Oh well.

There was a little chatter in the hollow earth groups for a couple of days and then they all returned to regurgitating the same hollow earth information they’ve been discussing for years. WAKE UP PEOPLE! THIS IS PROOF POSITIVE THAT AT LEAST SOME HEAVENLY BODIES ARE HOLLOW!! It seems for some reason we can’t seem to take the possibility of naturally hollow earthly bodies forward into the 21st century.

Of course the fact that at least some heavenly bodies are hollow is not new news. Just as with the belief by certain scientists who have claimed for at least the last 50 years that our own moon is hollow [See “For Whom the Bells Toll” – THE HOLLOW EARTH INSIDER Vol. 1 #2] the spin Doctors jump in and say that if it’s hollow then it “must be artificial because heavenly bodies are not naturally hollow” Even President Eisenhower had his say on the subject of Phobos hollowness way back when I was a child, and I’m now 67.   Of course if the people were paying attention this “new” information would cause a “Catch 22” for the controllers.  If  Phobos and our own moon ARE artificially build – not naturally formed – then who put them there?  You can’t have it both ways.

Ancient Underground Dwellers

According to a National Geographic story I reported on back in 1999 dinosaurs once burrowed underground. Now new dinosaur underground habitats have been discovered in Southern Australia.  Paleontologist Anthony Martin, the discoverer of the “Antarctica Dinosaurs” burrow in Southern Australia stated, “They probably burrow underground to escape extreme weather.”  Mr. Martin was with a group who also discovered the first known dinosaur tunnel, “an underground den in Montana holding [the remains of] a 95-million-year-old dinosaur family.”   Now we have an update to that report:

Should humans follow suit?

Both stories mentioned burrowing to escape extreme weather. Bet the digging was to better defend against predators also.  Both reasons make sense.  Which reminds me, didn’t some military or suit from the district of criminals (DC) recently tell us we should start to think about moving underground?  I’ll have to check that out.  In fact, I think I’ll spend some time looking into that … moving underground.  Look for a couple of reports in the coming issues on just that subject. . .
