Ron Paul Has Won: Young People Engage With Liberty, Limited Government, Sound Money, Anti-War Principles

It gives me much pleasure to post this report.  Back when Tricky Dick ran for his re-election I became so frustrated I was looking for something to throw when a friend came to me and invited me to a meeting with a few friends who were forming a new party. The meeting was held in a guys garage in Thousand Oaks Ca and there were about 10 people there. The party they were helping to form was the Libertarian Party.  I have been a card carrying member ever since.  During that first meeting we were warned that educating the people of the Libertarian principles and the new party’s goals would be a long draw out process.  They predicted that it would probably take the Libertarian Party 200 years to become a major party. (They based that on the fact that it took the Republican Party that long).  Because of Ron Paul I believe that the 200 year figure should be shortened considerably.  The following report shows why.  Ron Paul has already won the hearts and minds of half of the young voters…. those people will be running our country someday. Congratulations Dr. Paul… you are a true American hero. . . EDITOR

The next generation of leaders in America are Ron Paul fans

When Congressman Ron Paul embarked on a third Presidential campaign he did so with one over riding aim – to engage the next generation of Americans and provide them with the platform to restore the principles of the Constitution. The facts show that he has overwhelmingly succeeded.

Tuesday’s primary in New Hampshire saw the Congressman net almost half of all votes from people aged between 18 and 29 years old. Paul received 47 percent of young voter support, data collated by theCenter for Information & Research on Civic Learning & Engagement shows.

“Dr. Paul’s 47 percent support from 18- to 29-year-olds was the strongest level of support for any candidate by any age group.” said CIRCLE Director Peter Levine in a press release. . . . Read Complete Report

“It is not too much of an exaggeration to say that a substantial minority, if not a majority, of Republicans and Democrats are really libertarians of some sort. This gives Ron Paul a natural constituency that is far larger than the mainstream media admits.”
“There is apparently only one struggle in the world – and in the US. That is the seeming struggle between a handful of ancient, elite families who control hundreds of trillions via central banks around the world and want to move to world government (dominated by them) and the rest of us. . .  Read complete report

Dr. Ron Paul – THEI’S Man of the year

THEI’s Man of the year, Ron Paul is also your Editors choice for president… in fact I believe he’s the only man running who is looking out for the people. He is the only one running without connections to any of the groups (CFR, Trilateral Commission, Bilderberg Group, Bohemian Grove, Skull and Bones etc) while EVERY OTHER CANDIDATE both, Republican and Obama and his staff can easily be traced to  one of more of these secretive anti-sovereignty groups . . . I voted for Dr. Paul when he was my party’s (Libertarian Party) candidate and will vote for him again if he makes the cut. . . EDITOR

Why Ron Paul Matters

Among all the GOP presidential candidates, he’s the only one who stands for constitutionally limited government.

by Edward H. Caine, DECEMBER 31, 2011

The controversy surrounding decades-old newsletters to which GOP presidential aspirant Ron Paul lent his name is regrettable. First, it is regrettable because the sometimes bigoted, intolerant content of those newsletters is inconsistent with the views of the congressman as understood by those of us who know him. Yet, while Mr. Paul disavows supporting those ideas, he refuses to repudiate his close association with their likely source, Lew Rockwell, head of the Alabama-based Mises Institute.

Second, the New York Times editorialized recently that these unsavory writings “will leave a lasting stain on . . . the libertarian movement.” That is wishful thinking on the part of the Times, but it adds to the background noise surrounding Mr. Paul’s candidacy, obscuring the real libertarian policy initiatives that have made his candidacy the most remarkable development of the 2012 campaign.

Ron Paul‘s libertarian campaign has traction because so many Americans respond to his messages: . . . Continue report

Howdy,

Mary's one 002I’m Rick Osmon, aka The Oz Man, aka by some, “The Voice of Reason” (boy, do I have those folks snowed). Although, a little study and logic seems lost on our politicians today, it could be very useful for the rest of us.

I’ve worn a great many hats in my lifetime: salvage diver, fishing guide, welder, TV repairman, sculptor, laser technician, author, talk show host, cattleman, researcher, auto body repairman, web site designer, actor, film editor, guitar player, …now I’m studying to be a hammock tester.

I guess my mission in life is to follow Dennis around, fixing his spelling errors, dressing up the web site, making appointments, re-scheduling appointments, and occasionally, posting something of my own.

When I’m not fixing other stuff, I’m figuring out ways to make the printer jam. Hence, the name of my occasional column: Paper Jammin.
