California Legislators Introduce Bill To Banish NSA

A bipartisan team of California state senators introduced legislation Monday that would prohibit the state and its localities from providing “material support” to the National Security Agency.

If the bill becomes law, it would deny NSA facilities access to water and electricity from public utilities, impose sanctions on companies trying to fill the resulting void and outlaw NSA research partnerships with state universities. . . . Read Complete Report

New Legislation Would Ban NSA From Arizona

State senator says ‘the NSA isn’t welcome in Arizona unless it follows the Constitution’

Arizona state Sen. Kelli Ward announced legislation Monday that would ban the National Security Agency from operating in her state.

“I believe the number one priority for national security is defending and protecting the Constitution,” the Republican who represents the Lake Havasu City area of northwest Arizona said in a statement. “Without that, the rest becomes irrelevant. There is no question that the NSA program, as it is now being run, violates the Fourth Amendment. This is a way to stop it.” . . . Read Complete Report

Retro:Book Reveals Extensive Effort by Reagan, FBI to Undermine California’s ’60’s Student Movement

During every puppet presidential administration since Kennedy I have voiced my displeasure of the direction they were taking us. During those times I have been called all kind of names, by the different groups, by reporting on the goings on of the individual stooges during their reign.

So, in order to get a break from those who don’t like my reporting of the goings on in these times with our socialist half of the politicians in charge, let us not forgetting one of the past “conservative” elitist’s puppets.

In fact, lets look at the god of the so-called “conservatives”, Ronald Ray-gun.  He was the B-grade thug who helped the bunch we’ve got in charge of our problems today start to worm their way into control.  Bet the information in the following report makes some “conservatives” mad. Hope they e-mail me a piece of hate mail. It’ll give me a break from the “liberal” hate mail I get reporting on their god’s administration.

Just for the record: I thought JFK’s policy’s sucked. The only good thing he did worthy of mentioning was the issuance of U.S. Treasury Notes the first step towards getting our currency out of the hands of the privately owned interest charging Federal Reserve.

When he promised air cover in Cuba during the Bay of Pigs and then pulled out it shows the cowardliness of a weak man. Just another pretty boy puppet spending papa’s bootleg liquor money.  The only thing he did to gain immortality as a “great president” was get gunned down in Dallas on Nov. 22,1963.

Isn’t it strange how some folks can’t take the truth. . . EDITOR

On Tuesday the advocacy group Partnership for Civil Justice Fund released new documents that show the Department of Homeland Security is conducting surveillance on peaceful protest groups, like Occupy Wall Street. DHS is claiming it has every right to keep track on peaceful demonstrators, but critics say it’s an abuse of their power.
According to the documents it turns out, DHS has been spying on peaceful, law abiding citizens since 2006, and they say it’s legal. For more Michael Brooks a producer for The Majority Report joins us.

San Diego (UPI) Mar 20, 2013

A previously unknown layer of liquefied molten rock in Earth’s mantle may be “lubricating” the sliding motions of massive tectonic plates, U.S. researchers say.

Scientists at Scripps Institution of Oceanography at the University of California, San Diego, said the discovery could help explain basic geological functions of the planet and perhaps lead to better understanding of volcanism and earthquakes. . . . Read Complete Report

Idle No More has galvanized marches, flashmobs and railway blockades in the fight for indigenous rights

Last month a protest movement exploded across Canada, but little has been made of it by the media below the border. The reason for this, perhaps, is that the issues underpinning the movement are  — quite literally — indigenous to Canada. Under the banner Idle No More, thousands of Canada’s aboriginal peoples (First Nations, Inuit and Métis) and their allies have staged mass demonstrations in cities and towns all around the country in protest of the abusive treatment of indigenous people in Canada by the Canadian government. Mass marches have peacefully taken over the streets in Ottawa, while Round Dance flashmobs (nodding to both traditional indigenous dances and social media-fueled protest practices of late) have popped in around Canada and even in a handful of U.S. cities in solidarity. . . .
