ST. PETERSBURG — Recent reports of alleged UFO sightings in Russia have prompted some scientists to offer their theories on why alien species “persistently avoid our planet”.
Astronomer Sergei Smirnov, of the prestigious Russian Academy of Sciences’ Pulkovo Observatory, says that aliens are not making contact because they see humans as being “too dangerous”.
Distrustful aliens, he continued, see humans treat their own homeworld “like wolves, destroying it systematically”.

An unusually shaped, gigantic UFO was spotted on the Solar and Heliospheric Observatory (SOHO) and posted in a video on YouTube.
The unidentified flying object, which bears no resemblance to anything ever spotted near the Sun, somehow manages to withstand the blazing heat thrown off by solar flare activity and the incredibly high temperatures emanating from nuclear fusion generated on the surface of the star. What is it?

Recently, I’d been hearing talk around the water cooler (not really) that UFO sightings really didn’t start occurring until the 1940′s and 1950′s. Danish F16 jetfighter in dogfight with UFOs over Denmark sounds like pure fiction, but I think there may actually be some truth here, especially when you study the pictures I am presenting further below. On July 6, 2010 at 12.45 pm, I was in Odense city at the street Vestre Stationsvej and had accidentally a camera with me, when I heard the roar of a fighter plane in the skies over me in a north-westerly direction. There were some clouds in the sky that day and I did not succeed to see the plane, which probably have been a Danish F16 jetfighter, but I could hear it clearly and it sounded as though the pilot up there used afterburner a few times with short intervals and I got the feeling, that he frantically tried to get into position to something up there. Instinctively, I grabbed my camera and started taking pictures in the direction the sound came from and this resulted in a total of 13 images, where 10 of them might be interesting for UFO enthusiasts. Former American President Dwight D. Eisenhower had three secret meetings with aliens, a former US government consultant has claimed.
The 34th President of the United States met the extra terrestrials at a remote air base in New Mexico in 1954, according to lecturer and author Timothy Good.
Eisenhower and other FBI officials are said to have organized the showdown with the space creatures by sending out ‘telepathic messages’.
The two parties finally met up on three separate occasions at the Holloman Air Force base and there were ‘many witnesses’.
Conspiracy theorists have circulated increased rumors in recent months that the meeting between the Commander-in-Chief and people from another planet took place.
But the claims from Mr Good, a former U.S. Congress and Pentagon consultant, are the first to be made publicly by a prominent academic.

BRAY’S POINT, Ore. – They can’t be moved; even when yanked by a four-wheel drive truck pulling on heavy chains tied around these humming metal boxes that are still appearing as of Feb. 8 up and down West Coast beaches.
As of late afternoon Feb. 8, Bill Hanshumaker, a public marine specialist and (Ph.D) doctor of marine science at the Hatfield Marine Science Center in nearby Newport, told Huliq in an interview that, “I don’t know what they are.” In turn, Doctor Hanshumaker said he’s advised “surf monitoring” about these strange metal boxes that suddenly appeared along local beaches Feb. 6, and now seem to be multiplying like Star Trek “Tribbles.” The photograph that accompanies this report – taken during the afternoon of Feb. 8 near Bray’s Point — of yet another strange metal box stuck in the surf up is one of a possible group of a dozen or more that have been sited up and down West Coast beaches. Meanwhile, the British government also photographed similar huge metal boxes on beaches in Sri Lanka in the late 1990’s and in early 2004 and 2005. The discovery of the boxes is detailed in updated previously classified reports from the British government that document sightings of unidentified flying objects by both the military and the general public dating back to the 1950s.
I do not usually add links to supposed UFO videos because, without expert analysis by video specialist the hoaxers are able to create believable looking clips. With today’s technology even a computer dummy like myself can create a passable UFO clip with a little cheap, or even free software. I am posting this report because with the comments by investigators it illustrates just why I do not post such videos.
I have said it many times before and will probably say it many times again. Until someone gets a photo or video which contains the up close details that I observed in 1962 I don’t even want to see it.
In 1962, along with a fellow Army Medical Specialist, I observed a 150×50 ft, solid object, shaped like a football with sharper ends and porthole type windows around the center with very bright light coming from them ( like the light from a welding machine only solid) and no running lights as such. It all of a sudden appeared at treetop level over our barracks (Ft. Bragg N.C). . . about 75 ft in front off us… it hoovered without making any sound for about a minute, then seemed to drift slowly across a parade ground until it was directly over our head to such a degree we had to look straight up to see it. Then, obviously maneuvered one end of the craft slowly upwards until it reached about a 45 degree angle pointing up. Then as suddenly as it appeared it shot out of sight faster than I just typed the last sentence. This was the start of my quest . . . Until this day I have never seen a photo or video of anything like what I saw. When I do I’ll let you know. . . EDITOR

Brightly lit UFOs over the UK and Russia are lighting up the sky and burning up the Internet. But do they stand up to scrutiny?
A man referring to himself as Space999dude posted a video on YouTube (see above) that shows something in the sky over the Thames Estuary near London on Feb. 5. He wrote that the object “seems too bright for a boat but I could be wrong, and looked like it was above the water. It was a very long way off and I was at full 40x zoom — hence the shaky footage.
“I always carry a camcorder in my car … and think more people should be looking and keeping cameras at the ready.”
Space999dude’s video pulled in a lot of comments, many wondering why the clip was under a minute in length. Perhaps in response to some who complained that the first video clip didn’t offer any long-range perspective of the UFO, he posted a second clip to show faraway and close-up views of it.
